A feed screw from the hopper conveys input material through a pre-sizer into a vane pump, which pumps the meaty bones into the filter.
Pressure build-up inside the filter is generated against an adjustable restraint. The pressure causes meat to extrude through the filter, while the auger discharges the bone residue through the restraint, simultaneously keeping the inside of the filter clean.
Applied in combination with the special filter configuration, the low pressure ensures a coarse textured end-product.
The Roto Meat accepts all types of poultry bones with a minimum of 40% meat on the bone, including frames, necks, wings or whole birds.
